Theme: Urban
A 16x16 spritesheet for urban type human characters intended for top-down retro RPGs where sprites have 3-color palette restrictions.
This asset pack comes in the following:
- 24 characters(unique and gender counterparts) - Free to download
- Base pack + additional 24 characters (as of launch version 6/3/2025) - For a minimum support of $1 to help future development. All succeeding updates for this pack will be free to download.

File Type: Comes as a single spritesheet (.png) with a separate sprite atlas guide
Includes the following simplified animations in cardinal directions (north, south, east, west):
1. Idle 01 (Blink):
4-frame (2~3 key frames, 1 repeat frame)
No blink animations for north direction and glasses/shades characters
Different south facing idle animation for glasses/shades characters
2. Run/Walk:
4-frame (2~3 key frames, 1~2 repeat frames from Idle Blink)
3. Idle 02 (Raise Arm):
2-frame (1 key frame, 1 repeat frame from Idle Blink)

Intended usage: Differentiate NPCs with important events such as quest or required to talk to (i.e. you can add icons or speech bubbles above the sprite for added effect)

SPRITESHEET GUIDE
Frames in yellow are REPEATED as a guide and for fast prototyping
Left and right view are mostly flipped aside from legs and some minor hair variations.
If your engine has frame limits, just remove the duplicate frames in yellow and mirror either the left or right view frames. Use engine code/logic to loop back to the repeat frames.
Make color swaps from the 3-color palette for unlimited variants!
